I got lots of emails. Thanks for your efforts. You looked for the tips in the first chapter of our book and some of you were successful. Here you can check your answers:

1. After Jonathan Harker arrived at the hotel, the elderly man gave him a letter from Count Dracula.
2.The ride to the castle was not very enjoyable.

First of all the driver looked strange and behaved in an unnatural way. Besides, there was a mysterious blue flame in the dark forest. You can't also forget about a great number of wolves, howling and following Dracula's carriage. Remember? The horses were terrified - they shook with fright and jumped about. Jonathan was too afraid to speak or move.

3. Dracula didn't drink or eat anything.

As you probably remember, he said he had already eaten. What did he mean...? Ha, ha, ha...

What's the name of the most famous vampire in the world???

Some of you, especially girls, may say it's Edward Cullen but you're wrong of course!!! The most famous vampire is one guy from Transylvania called Count Dracula. 

Some people believe he used to live in the middle of Carpatian Mountains in his castle located on Borgo Pass.

Stardust

Hi everyone!

Have you ever heard of Neil Gaiman? He's one of my favourite writers. Last Thursday we watched 20 minutes of the film which was based on Neil Gaiman's book titled "Stardust". The title of the film is the same.
That's a pity we didn't have time to watch more.
I hope it'll go better next time.

Yes, yes, yes, I'm talking about our small WORDS CONTEST.

 

 It's quite natural because it's the WORDS CLUB, isn't it? So, the guys I mentioned at the beginning sent me the right answers, I mean the missing words from the sentences about wicked witches. You all had a chance to get great marks but I've got an impression that you were to lazy to look up a few words in the dictionary... That's a pity... 

Anyway, Mateusz, Natalia and Marysia, thank you for your efforts. 

The correct answers are:

Do you remember our last meeting? We tried to read some parts of the first chapter from the book which has been loved by millions of readers all over the world - The Hobbit or There and Back Again.
We read the description of the scene when Bilbo meets Gandalf. Here you've got some pictures which show how a few artists imagined that very important meeting; the meeting which changed the history of Middle-Earth.

Funny translations :-)

Hello again! :-)

As you probably remember I asked you to use your imagination and try to translate "Yellow Submarine" into Polish in the funniest way you can. It wasn't an easy thing to do. It's not enouch to know all the words and expressions to be successful in this task. You also needed some sense of humour.

Anyway, I received only three funny translations. In my opinion they're all great so I decided to give you great marks!
